The King

Jack Kirby (August 28, 1917 – February 6, 1994), born Jacob Kurtzberg, was an American comic book artist, writer, and editor widely regarded as one of the medium's major innovators and one of its most prolific and influential creators.

Jack "The King" Kirby (August 28th, 1917 - February 6th, 1994) was one of the most pioneering comic creators of all time. Proficient in every stage of the creation process, he was responsible for creating dozens of unique characters for both Marvel and DC Comics. One of Kirby's most enduring contributions is the mythology of the New Gods (commonly referred to as the Fourth World).

The Eternals - Ajak

Ajak first appeared in Eternals vol. 1 #2 (August 1976), and was created by Jack Kirby. Ajak made subsequent appearances in the series, in issues #3-4 (September–October 1976), #7 (January 1977), and #12 (June 1977).


The Eternals - Makarri

Makkari, formerly known as Hurricane and Mercury, is a member of the Eternals, a fictional race of superhumans in the Marvel Comics universe. He was created by writer-artist Jack Kirby in the 1976-1978 comic book series The Eternals, where the name was spelled Makarri.
